VINifyCheck (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we process when you use our free VIN check and optional vehicle history report services, and how we protect it.

Information We Process

  • VINs you submit: We process the VIN to return basic vehicle data and, if purchased, to compile a full vehicle history report.
  • Technical data: Device/browser information, IP address, and usage logs to secure and improve the Service.
  • Payment information: For paid reports, checkout is handled by our payment partner. We do not store full card details on our servers.

How We Use Information

  • Deliver requested results (free VIN basics and/or paid full reports).
  • Maintain service reliability, detect abuse/fraud, and improve features.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Data Sharing

We may share limited information with service providers (e.g., payment processing, analytics, infrastructure) under contractual obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention

VIN queries and related logs may be retained for a period necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service. Retention times vary based on operational and legal requirements.

Your Choices

  • You can choose not to submit a VIN if you do not wish it to be processed.
  • You may request deletion of identifiable contact information you provided by emailing support@vinifycheck.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us to remove it.

International Transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections are in place.
